Radiation Curing Classes Begin Sept. 8

UV+EB Technology

It’s not too late to register for the online short and advanced courses in radiation curing technology through the Radiation Curing Program at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. RCP’s online format is the perfect solution for those wanting to learn more about the radiation curing field in a cost-effective and flexible manner, accommodating work, travel and other commitments. It complements in-house training for new and existing employees.

Short courses offer a better understanding of the energy curing field and how it is used in the field of rapid prototyping. These courses typically take four to six hours to complete, and are open every month for registration:
• Principles of Energy Curing Technologies
• Basics of UV Curable 3D Printing

Advanced graduate courses offer more in-depth knowledge, providing foundational and advanced treatment of current and emerging UV/EB curing principles and applications. The semester begins Sept. 8, and it’s not too late to register. Advanced courses may be taken as either non-credit or for-credit courses as three 500-level credits each. Participants taking all three courses for credit can apply for an Advanced Certificate in Radiation Curing from SUNY. The courses include:
• Introduction to Polymer Coatings
• Radiation Curing of Polymer Technologies
• Radiation Curing Equipment, Instrumentation and Safety

RadTech members receive a 10 percent discount off any courses taken on a non-credit basis. Group discounts are available also. Learn more at www.radcuring.com or radcuring@esf.edu.
