SUMMARY:Macromolecular Engineering of Degradable Photocurable Resins Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Please join RadTech on April 8th for a webinar on Macromolecular Engineering of Degradable Photocurable Resins with speaker Travis W. Walker from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology. \nMacromolecular Engineering of Degradable Photocurable Resins\nSpeaker: Travis W. Walker\, South Dakota School of Mines & Technology\nApril 8\, 2024\, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM EDT. \nRegister For the Webinar \nIf you still need to watch the rest of the webinars in our biodegradable materials series\, you can watch the videos using the links below.\n• Developing Radiation Curable Materials from Bio-based Feedstocks\n• Biodegradable photopolymers: from chemical depolymerization to soil compostability\n• Understanding the Biological Degradation of Home Compostable Multilayer Packaging\n________________________________________ \nFinally\, if you haven’t had a chance to check out the RadLaunch 2024 UV+EB Degradability Challenge\, please visit https://radlaunch.org/2024-uveb-degradability-challenge/. \nThe RadTech RadLaunch Committee is pleased to announce the 2024 UV+EB Degradability Challenge. This challenge highlights an important pillar of sustainability: designing products with their end-of-life (EOL) in mind. RadLaunch Challenge winners will receive an expenses paid trip to RadTech 2024 in May in Orlando\, FL to present their work\, as well as cash prizes.

SUMMARY:Introduction to Design of Experiments (DOE) Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Please join RadTech on April 16th for an Introduction to Design of Experiments (DOE) with Professor Allan Guymon of the University of Iowa. \nIntroduction to Design of Experiments (DOE)\nApril 16\, 2024\, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM EDT\nProfessor Allan Guymon\, University of Iowa \nWebinar Overview:\nThis course will present an introduction to Design of Experiments (DOE)\, a technique allowing the maximum amount of information by performing the minimum number of experiments. Most experiments not based on DOE concepts\, are two-dimensional\, i.e. one variable is changed while a response is measured. DOE\, on the other hand\, varies all of the important variables simultaneously\, thereby examining the response(s) in many dimensions. While DOE is based on statistical principles\, primary emphasis will be placed on the motivation behind DOE as well as practical aspects in using and applying DOE. Students will gain experience in using DOE via simple experiments and assignments. \nRegister Now \n
