New 3D Printing Online Course Offered by RadTech

RadTech and the State University of New York announce a new short course on the Basics of UV-Curable 3D Printing. Students will learn the language and concepts of UV technology and how it applies to 3D printing, with various modules providing a broad overview of the science, materials, equipment and processes used in UV-curable 3D printing.

This course can be completed in just four to six hours and can be taken at the student’s pace during a four-week period. Register today for the July 1, Aug. 3 and Sept. 1 start dates. RadTech members receive a discount.

Webinar Series – The Future of UV/EB Advanced Manufacturing: Trends, Strategies and Applications

RadTech International North America and the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF) have created a free ultraviolet/electron beam curing technologies webinar series – The Future of UV/EB Advanced Manufacturing: Trends, Strategies and Applications.

Webinars typically include 60 minutes of real-time presentation and interactive facilitated discussion with participants.

RadTech Announces New Hands-on Surface Curing Workshop

RadTech International North America, Bethesda, Maryland, will be hosting a new hands-on UV/EB Surface Curing Workshop, which will include small working groups participating in 30 to 45 minutes of active learning about UV, EB and UV-LED surface curing technology with ink, coating and adhesive formulations.

The workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Georgia Power Customer Research Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The cost is $40. University students can attend for free by emailing a copy of their school ID to mickey@radtech.org.

Photopolymerization Fundamentals 2015

Photopolymerization Fundamentals 2015, the premier scientific conference for the industry, will be held Sept. 13-16 in Boulder, Colorado.

Highlights of the event are expected to include numerous presentations, a short course featuring four tutorial or review lectures from leaders in the photopolymerization community, a poster session and vendor exhibits. Early registration for the conference ends June 30.

RadTech China 2015

RadTech China’s 2015 annual conference and forum will take place on Sept. 21-25 at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center, in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China.

The event will focus on fundamental research and discussion about the advancement, development and application of UV/EB curing technology in various coating, ink, adhesive and equipment industries. The event will be co-located with the third annual International Forum on Radiation Curing Industry Development (IFRCID-2015) and the sixth annual China International RadTech Expo (IRTE 2015).

RadTech Europe 15

RadTech Europe 15 will take place Oct. 13-15 at the Clarion Congress Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. RadTech Announces New UV LED 2015 Conference

Focusing on the advanced materials marketplace, UV LED 2015 is a new conference that will be Oct. 28-29 in Troy, New York. It will include a full day of presentations, an exhibition, a reception and a tour of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Smart Lighting Engineering Research Center.
