Rita Loof, RadTechs director of environmental affairs, and Joe Blandford of Miltec attended the South Coast Air Quality Management District event in July.
RadTech International North America, Bethesda, Maryland, recently exhibited at the two-day South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) event, providing information to potential end users and formulators interested in UV/EB technology.
Rita Loof, RadTechs director of environmental affairs, spoke in support of incentives for the industry and highlighted the unintended consequences of regulations that act as barriers to manufacturing, and her comments were supported by panel members. As an open forum on emission reduction strategies, SCAQMD plans to analyze the strategies presented and consider them for inclusion in the 2016 Air Quality Management Plan (AQMP) currently in development. RadTech currently holds a seat on the AQMD advisory committee.
