The multi-day program included science kits that the teachers experimented with and then used to build their curriculum for the upcoming school year.
Sartomer Americas, , a division of Arkema in Exton, Pennsylvania, recently launched the Arkema Science Teacher Program by hosting a multi-day event at its West Chester location.
Fourth- through sixth- grade teachers who participated in the event chose a themed science kit for their classroom, which includes 17 lessons and a variety of hands-on activities. Sartomers scientists worked with the teachers to experiment with the kits and help them develop their science curriculum for the year. In addition to the kits themselves, the company donated money so extra supplies could be purchased throughout the year. The event also included a tour of Sartomers facility.
