Press release submitted on behalf of GEW.
GEW (EC) Limited, Crawley, West Sussex, United Kingdom, a company that designs and manufactures Arc and UV LED curing systems for printing, coating and converting applications, has appointed DANVAV as its official distributor for Mexico, with immediate effect. DANVAV is now responsible for all label and narrow web system sales, as well as spare parts and service support across the country.
The company was established in 2017 in Mexico City, by Director Daniel Garcia, to represent GEW for service work in Mexico. Since then he has transformed GEW’s service reputation in the country with many happy customers and built a significant client base with non-exclusive spare parts supply. DANVAV has two premises in the city, comprising a dedicated sales office and a spare parts and technical service center that is also the administrative hub, with service engineers based in Mexico City and Guadalajara. Following this excellent work over the last seven years, DANVAV will take the natural step to become the exclusive distributor of GEW UV systems, spare parts and services in the narrow web printing and converting market.
Garcia and his team have a wealth of experience in flexographic and digital printing, having provided maintenance services and machinery spare parts in Mexico for many years. Garcia himself has expert, in-depth knowledge of both conventional UV Arc systems, and the more technologically advanced UV LED curing systems that are quickly becoming more prevalent in the market.
He comments: “We begin this new partnership with GEW with great excitement. We already have a great deal of experience when it comes to servicing and maintaining GEW UV systems and in supplying spare parts and consumables to the customers, alongside our experience in recommending the best GEW curing solutions to meet the customers’ individual needs. Through these relationships and over many years, DANVAV has built a strong reputation, and has gained the trust of our customers.”
Vini Munzberg, GEW’s Sales Manager for Latin America, highlights the further benefits that DANVAV’s appointment will bring to customers in Mexico: “Sales and service support will be faster, and delivery times of GEW spare parts will be quicker and more economical for the customer due to reduced shipping and importation costs. GEW’s Remote Monitoring platform, combined with an excellent service team in the field, means that our Mexican customers can also expect an efficient and highly responsive technical support package.”
