Wikoff Color, Fort Mill, South Carolina, a leading provider of innovative colorants, coatings and specialty inks, is excited to announce the appointment of Sachin Nayar as vice president of Research & Development, effective December 2, 2024. Sachin will be based at the company’s Corporate Office, overseeing all aspects of R&D.
With more than 15 years of experience in the coatings, inkjet and specialty chemicals industries, Sachin brings an extensive background in driving innovation and advancing product development. He began his career as an inkjet ink formulator with the Eastman Kodak Company, before progressing to global leadership roles at AkzoNobel and PPG Industries. Most recently, he served as Ink Innovation Director at BIC Corporation in France, where he led teams in the development of bio-sourced stationery inks. Throughout his career, Sachin has demonstrated a keen ability to align innovative formulation development with regulatory compliance, sustainability and commercialization viability.

As part of Wikoff Color’s ongoing commitment to innovation, Sachin will be responsible for leading the company’s R&D teams at both the Milwaukee and Alpharetta plants, in addition to our Fort Mill team. This change is part of the company’s broader initiative to enhance teamwork across R&D functions and further align efforts to meet evolving customer demands.
