National Academy of Inventors Welcomes First Academic Inductee, a RadTech Nominee

Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan, has announced that Vijay Mannari, a distinguished professor of polymers and coatings, is among seven innovators inducted into the National Academy of Inventors, in recognition of his innovations in the field of UV-curing materials and systems.

Mannari, director of the Coatings Research Institute in the EMU College of Engineering and Technology, was nominated by RadTech International North America. He is the lone academic inductee to the National Academy of Inventors, a member organization comprising US and international universities and governmental and nonprofit research institutes. The NAI publishes the multidisciplinary journal Technology and Innovation, journal of the National Academy of Inventors.
