Phoseon Technology, Hillsboro, Oregon, a provider of UV LED curing solutions, has announced an agreement with machine and services provider Narrow Web Italia S.r.l., Coccaglio, Italy, to integrate Phoseon UV LED light sources into new and retrofit printing solutions for the narrow web flexographic market.
UV LED integration offers higher yields and decreased operating costs, including up to 80% less power consumption versus mercury arc lamp technology. There is no warm-up time with instant-on LEDs, increasing productivity and profitability.
