Wikoff Color Adds Evan Benbow as Vice President, Product Technology & Solutions

Inks and coating manufacturer Wikoff Color Corporation, Fort Mill, South Carolina, has announced the promotion of Evan Benbow, Ph.D., to vice president, product technology & solutions. In his new role, Benbow is responsible for overseeing product development at the corporate technical center, along with driving company-wide initiatives for innovation and sustainability.

As of Dec. 1, Benbow has transitioned into this leadership position after four years of serving as the company’s R&D director. Before coming to Wikoff, he worked with exotic energy storage technologies for automotive and grid storage applications. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Iowa State University in 2003 and obtained his Ph.D. at Florida State University in inorganic chemistry, specializing in metal alloys with exotic magnetic properties. Benbow has 11 publications in peer-reviewed journals, as well as a patent.
