ACTEGA, Wesel, Germany, has appointed Dennis Siepmann to the newly created role of global head of sustainability.

Siepmann will lead the ongoing development and delivery of ACTEGA’s sustainability and ESG initiatives with a particular focus on circular economy, sustainable solutions and ALTANA’s objectives to becoming climate neutral by 2025. Siepmann will be responsible for driving ACTEGA’s sustainability efforts and their integration across the technologies and operations of the company.

Siepmann has been with ACTEGA for more than a decade, having started as business development manager at the ACTEGA site in Bremen, Germany, and most recently as the Global Segment Head for Speciality Consumer Goods.

Commenting on his new role, Siepmann said: “I am honored to be taking on this role at such an exciting time for ACTEGA and very much looking forward to working with our teams around the world to find new ways to reduce our environmental impact as well as to make a positive contribution to the areas in which we operate.
