Kowa American Corporation (KAC), New York, New York, a supplier of specialty raw materials to the chemical industry, is pleased to announce the opening of a new
applications laboratory located in the Case Western Reserve Incubator in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Kowa facility and staff is led by Barbara Varone. The focus will be on collaborating with
customers to develop manufacturing options for established, next generation and novel
technologies able to be produced domestically to provide continuity in the marketplace. The
KAC lab will create customized synthetic solutions for the paints & coatings, adhesives &
sealants, inks and 3D printing markets as well as new emerging technical markets.
The Kowa lab team is experienced in polymer synthesis, UV & energy curables as well as in
formulations within the various market segments mentioned.
KAC’s lab team has access to a variety of analytical testing services and expert interpretation of the results.
