RadTech Announces Design of Experiments Webinar
UV+EB Technology
As part of the SUNY-ESF/RadTech webinar series, RadTech, based in Chevy Chase, Maryland, has announced a webinar on Design of Experiments. The event is scheduled to take place from 1-2 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, March 28. Allan Guymon, Ph.D., a professor from the University of Iowa, will be the speaker.
Design of Experiments (DOE) is a powerful technique that allows the maximum amount of information to be obtained by performing the minimum number of experiments. For those in production, product design or quality control, knowledge of DOE can dramatically enhance effectiveness in solving problems and optimizing systems.
Most experiments not based on DOE concepts, are 2D, i.e., one variable is changed while a response is measured. DOE, on the other hand, runs through all of the important variables simultaneously and systematically, thereby examining the response(s) in many dimensions. The webinar will introduce the topic of DOE with particular focus on its value for those in the radiation curing industry.
Registration for the webinar is free. To learn more, visit the webinar information page.
