Advanced Energy, Raleigh, North Carolina, has announced that Mike Stowe, one of its senior energy engineers, recently won an ACEEE Champion of Energy Efficiency in Industry award in the industrial leadership category. Stowe has held roles in various levels of management in facility and process engineering before joining Advanced Energy.
Since 2012, he has been committed to supporting strategic energy management efforts, guiding facilities along a range of activities, from more basic energy-bill tracking to pursuing certification in energy management programs, such as 50001 Ready™, ISO 50001 and Superior Energy Performance 50001™. Stowe has been devoted to encouraging long-term and widespread industrial energy efficiency and strategic energy management. He has helped numerous industrial facilities make more with less, and he led ISO 50001 groups to deliver trainings at federal facilities.
He was recognized along with the other award winners at July’s ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Industry.
