RadTech Launching UV LED Course

RadTech International North America is launching a 10-minute email course called “Introduction to UV LED Technology.” This is a free, email-based course that will feature six lessons sent in a weekly email that should take roughly 10 minutes to read.

“Introduction to UV LED Technology” will feature the following lessons:

  • Lesson 1: Ultraviolet Light
  • Lesson 2: How does an LED work?
  • Lesson 3: UV LEDs and Mercury Lamps
  • Lesson 4: Special Properties of UV LEDs
  • Lesson 5: Building a UV LED System
  • Lesson 6: New Developments in UV System Design

“Introduction to UV LED Technology” was curated by Dr. Robert Karlicek, director of the Center for Lighting Enabled Systems and Applications, and a professor of Electrical Computer and Systems Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, in conjunction with the RadTech UV LED Technical Committee.
